その最大の理由は、日本企業では何もかもが「曖昧」であることだ。仕事の責任範囲、昇格基準、給与体系、評価基準など人事諸制度が明確でないばかりか、企業の経営理念、海外拠点の経営方針もはっきりしない。
金銭を重視する人にとって「どれだけ働けば、いくらもらえるのか」がわからず、キャリアを重視する人にとって「いつ頃どのような仕事を任されるのか」がわからない。ビジョンを重視する人にとっても「どんな理念を持った企業なのか」がわからない。そのため誰からも魅力を感じてもらえない。
